Resources

The following page contains examples of official or authoritative resources that can be used to verify the location and name or address of structure features. They also contain examples of websites and resources that should NOT be used as the main source when verifying the location, name, or address of structure features. Such resources can be used, but only as ancillary sources.

Websites you can use when researching structures include official websites for the features or official city, county, and state websites. Websites you should not use when researching structures include general aggregator websites (that collect and present information and links from all over the internet), and general internet search engines.
