Welcome to the TNMCorps Q&A community!

Asking about a private school in Texas. School webpage states it serves students 18 months through first grade. Since it has first grade students, does it get an Elementary School icon? I am confused because it appears early childhood/day care is the main focus of the facility.

Yes, as long as a school serves students in at least one grade beyond kindergarten, it can be collected and labeled as an Elementary School. For example, a PreK-2nd grade school can be collected and labeled as an Elementary School. In your case, the PreK-1st grade school can be collected as an Elementary School.
