When researching cemeteries, I usually look at both Find-A-Grave (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cs) and Billion Graves (http://billiongraves.com/pages/search/#action=search_cemetery). If the site has had a number of folks submitting information about grave stones, the information on the location and name is probably good. I have added an extra word or two to combine a name when my research suggested both names were correct. Sometimes the name may change over time. You might also want to take a look at the Geographic Names Information System too (http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnispublic/). They often list variant names.
