Welcome to the TNMCorps Q&A community!

We have recently relocated a private road and want to make the change on the map. Is there a way to do that? We also want to fix where the digital map has always been wrong, and make it conform to aerial photos. I have done this in Open Street Map, but is there a way to do it for TNM? TNM editing suggestions appear to be limited to point features (i.e. "Structures")

The National Map Corps is strictly focused on structures data (point features). Our platform isn't designed to update other types of data (line, polygon, etc.).

If you'd like to make any suggested changes to roads data, you'll need to reach out to the Census Bureau, which is where the USGS road data comes from (Census Bureau TIGER Line files). The USGS currently has no system in place to petition for road changes, but you can reach out to the Census Bureau to submit updates.
