Editing as a Standard Editor, I see that the Status is Open for some points whereas most are Approved with no delay. I can't see the correlation. What is the difference? |

Points that are categorized as 'Approved' have either passed the error filter immediately , or have been reviewed and cleared by someone at the USGS. Points that are 'Open' have triggered the error filter for some reason and are pushed into the review queue to be reviewed by someone at the USGS. All deleted points are pushed into our review queue, so until a USGS review can be done on those points, they will have an 'Open' status. |
