I tried to log in into the system and got that my username and password were incorrect, however I'm 100% I put the correct information.

There are a few always to address this issue:

  1. Be sure that your are trying to login into the online editor.
  2. Be sure that you received an e-mail from the USGS after you registered your account, try to log in using the link on that e-mail.
  3. If after all this you still can't log into the online editor try to reset your password by clicking in the "Lost your password?" near the password field.

Our project website also has a "login" link that is misleading. You don't have log into the project page, only the online editor as mentioned in the previous answer.
