Is it acceptable for an Advanced Editor to edit points they had edited as a Standard Editor ? Is it OK as long as long as I provide an authoritative website/web address? If not how would I know/establish which points I had edited on the old software/system ? |
Yes, as an Advanced Editor you can check points you had previously edited as a Standard Editor. And of course, we always love when you provide authoritative website/web addresses! Unfortunately, there's no way to know which specific points you had edited using the old editor. The Edit History function is unique to the new editor and only tracks edits made in the new editor. What you could do is view your previous contributions here: https://my.usgs.gov/confluence/display/nationalmapcorps/Volunteer+Contributions (enter your username and click 'Search') and try to identify those same points in the new editor. It is possible that those points have already been checked by other volunteers, but if you feel like its worth your time, go ahead and give it a try. |
