Welcome to the TNMCorps Q&A community!

I keep getting the following message when saving features: "The field "State" does not follow data convention: Please remove all abbreviations EXCEPT ABC, LDS, EMS". But, the "State" field is a drop down menu. Am I missing something? Thank you,

Yesterday, unfortunately we lost connection to our server. There was a hardware issue unrelated to the software updates we pushed through over the weekend that affected many different groups and projects, not just the TNMCorps. If you tried to log on to the editor yesterday and this morning, you would have received a server error message. We just got news that the server has been restored though, so fingers crossed, you should now be able to edit normally!

The error messages that were popping up for the "State" field were definitely a glitch, but that has also been resolved. Let us know (nationalmapcorps@usgs.gov) if the issue comes back.

I am wondering if there is maybe some glitching occurring due to the editing software being down for maintenance over the weekend. I was editing this morning for about an hour when it froze up and now refuses to allow me to login, which hasn't previously been an issue for me. Has this problem just started over the last few days, or is it ongoing?

I am still getting an error, though it looks like it is saving the edits: "Naming

The field "State" does not follow data convention: Please remove all abbreviations EXCEPT ABC, LDS, EMS."

Are you still having the same problem?

I will ask our developer to take a look at it if this is still occurring. Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention!
