Welcome to the TNMCorps Q&A community!

I received the following application error:

The National Map Corps server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request (HTTP 500) Feel free to contact The National Map Corps at nationalmapcorps@usgs.gov if your problem persists. Make a note of the exact URL / post data of your request. This may be a problem in our Ruby On Rails code. 500 occurs with exceptions thrown outside of an action (like in Dispatcher setups or broken Ruby code)

What should I do?

This is a general application error. Try closing and reopening your browser. If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache or email nationalmapcorps@usgs.gov. Be aware sometimes clearing your cache will also clear "remembered" passwords and other items related to cookies.
