Welcome to the TNMCorps Q&A community!

While editing schools I noticed that the NCES (http://nces.ed.gov/globallocator/) site lists the schools as two separate schools, but the school's website refers to the schools as a single entity. Which is correct?

This situation is based on surveys provided to NCES by schools/school districts, and not incorrect from NCES standpoint. If the school's website, combines the schools, it is correct for the volunteer editor to combine the names on one point on the school (matching the website), and DELETE the second point. If a volunteer chooses to leave both points, named as they were originally, that is acceptable also.

Keep in mind that the information listed on a school's main (official) website is going to be preferable to the information provided by NCES. If you're having trouble finding an official website for a school, or confirming certain information about a school, NCES is a great secondary resource.
