Welcome to the TNMCorps Q&A community!

I've read that volunteers may be eligible for a free National Park Pass based on volunteer hours. Do the hours volunteering for this project count toward the pass?

No, unfortunately this volunteer opportunity does not count toward a National Park Pass (we are the US Geological Survey, a sister agency, and not considered one of the land management agencies).

In order to collect volunteer hours towards a National Parks pass the volunteer work must be approved and done in a park itself, unfortunately. You can find more info at the official webpage for any National Park you are interested in volunteering for!
