I visited the National Map Corps web site to see if I could pull the crowd source data and I did not see a way to pull it. Is there a way, or is it only available through the National Map data? |
USGS National Structures Dataset - Downloadable Data Collection: https://catalog.data.gov/dataset/usgs-national-structures-dataset-nsd-downloadable-data-collection-national-geospatial-data-ass The National Map Viewer: https://viewer.nationalmap.gov/advanced-viewer/ |
Ultimately, the crowd-sourced data becomes part of the National Structures Dataset (NSD) which can be accessed via FTP for a full download: ftp://rockyftp.cr.usgs.gov/vdelivery/Datasets/Staged/Struct/FileGDB101/STRUCT_NATIONAL.zip or via a map service: http://viewer.nationalmap.gov/example/services/serviceList.html Does that help? The data you see at https://navigator.er.usgs.gov is in various stages of editing, and has not necessarily become a part of the NSD. If you are looking for specific problem areas, a good tool to use (developed by a volunteer) is TNMExplorer at: https://nmc.onthemap.net/ |
