I have a couple of cemeteries in Allegheny County PA, St Nicholas and St Johns that are depicted twice. I believe the reason is that they both have GNIS # and the cemetery straddles two map sheet. My question is wether or not to depict them once or twice? |
I'd check the associated information with each duplicate (lat/ long, address, etc.), delete one of them, then make sure the remaining one has all of the associated information from both sites, and then make sure the icon is dead center in the cemetery using the aerial imagery. If they are right next to each other, make sure you know the relative position of the two and that the final points reflect the relative position as well. |
Good answer. A key point is that the GAZ IDs are duplicated too. |
